Statistics Canada – CRDCN Data Analytics Internship: deadline to apply September 5th

The deadline to apply for the Statistics Canada-RCCDR data analysis internship is September 5th.

You are eligible to apply if you meet the following criteria:

  • You are currently enrolled as a part-time or full-time graduate student (Masters or PhD);
  • You have experience with applying traditional statistical techniques (e.g. regression, and or data science techniques (i.e. machine learning) to manipulate and analyze data;
  • You have experience with using statistical packages such as R, Python, SAS or Stata; and
  • You meet the minimum age requirement in the province/territory of work.

The Annual CRDCN National Policy Challenge is back!

Every year, the CRDCN organizes in collaboration with SAS and Statistics Canada a competition for graduate students interested in quantitative statistics and public policies to make a difference by using confidential micro-data in order to inform the Canadian policy-making in the real world and to propose innovative policy solutions.
