ACFAS's 89th Conference (2022) - (IN FRENCH)

89e Congrès de l'ACFAS

Regards sur les réalités autochtones : Recherches et statistiques sociales et de santé (IN FRENCH)

The 89th ACFAS Congress will be held virtually from May 9 to 13, 2022. This year, the QICSS and the Centre interuniversitaire d’études et de recherches autochtones (CIERA) are joining forces to discuss the importance of access to data for the study of the different realities and issues of Aboriginal peoples in Canada.

Our symposium will be held virtually on May 9, from 8:45 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. In all, nearly twenty speakers, from public services, scientific research, and education, accepted our invitation. The day will begin with a message from the Honorable Michèle Audette, Senator, followed by three segments presenting research findings regarding health, family dynamics and after-dinner, education, employment, and income. The day will end with a Round table under the theme Les Enjeux autochtones des statistiques sociales et sanitaires.
